Not no more

My visa expired on Sunday, so I can't go to the US.

But it just hit me today...I really can't go to El Paso, lol. I mean, before whenever I asked somebody if they've been to <place_name> in El Paso and they answered: "No, I don't have a visa", I always thought "Hmm, good thing I DO have one"... but not no more. It's a funny feeling, I mean, I haven't been to EP in like 3 months (excluding last week when I got my passport)...but if I even want to go right now...I just...can't :S.

That's me 10 years ago (don't even try to zoom, it's an awful shot)
And I always looked at the expiration date and thought to myself "Pffff, it's still ages till it expires" :P. But I will renew ASAP.

  1. Damn, they don't even make them like that anymore! Now they kind of add it on to your passport, right?

Also, I just realized that my Mexican passport expires in a week. Crap!

  2. That sucks. I really, really, really hate immigration laws. I know it may be unrealistic to feel that society can function without labeling people with the patch of land they happen to be born in...but it is wrong the way i see it.
