I also found out that there are very little books about Web Development at my school:

And that's why I have to learn by myself and not in school. I'm pretty sure they are dated too...and that's a big problem for a topic like Web Development. It's not like it's a Calculus book, or Chemistry...where a book published years ago will be just as useful as a book published today...but take JavaScript for example (since the majority of books in the pic are of JS), you'd have to get a new book like every two years, cause the language itself keeps changing and so do the web browsers. Some books may even have code that by today's standards are considered bad practices or even deprecated...and this is true for almost every current programming language there is.

that's true for any technology or to some extend some science books......they are constantly updated!
