I may not be the biggest Microsoft fan in the world, but I think that's a pretty good thing they have going on.
That's how I got Visual Studio 2010 Professional. There's even a version of Windows Server 2008 in there.
Of course, open source software is also free, and most of the time, better, but for one that time when I have to make a program in C#...well, nothing beats VS imo.

Why would you guys need windows embedded? Is there a use for that(other than thin clients) that I am not aware of? And that is pretty sweet!
ReplyDeleteyeah, the reason they do that is to hook you on their products...but what can i say? i have used those education programs too, i downloaded vs10 from there to my now dead vaio :/
